just got this e-mail - it just confirms my decision not to travel for the foreseeable future while the situation remains precarious. there are some things i've had to make peace with:

- i have a (very cool) new exhibition opening in Madrid at the end of this month that I won't be able to attend or help setup. hopefully they take nice photos for me.

- i won't be able to go 'home' this summer and see my friends (and some of their new babies). but we do have facetime.

- i will get to spend the year in the US so need to start planning long road-trips on very straight roads...
