Why do think it took us so long to recognize there was a void for an advocacy department? We seem organized on the tech side with a solution roadmap, EIPs, debates on infra subjects, weekly dev meetings. However I never saw the same type of organization for ‘business development’ or solution mapping for large org/business/govt … until Etherealize (better late than never). Was the strategy more of ‘build it and they will come’, or more of a miss by the leaders in understanding the need for advocacy, or more of the solution just was not ready for primetime usage so conscious decisions to not showcase, or other?
