In the 2010s decade, I was in mountains every year on vacation ⛰️. Usually, it’s 14 days of hiking in a beautiful place without any Internet. 😏 Very refreshing and even adventurous, especially without translators widely available (I had to pick up some common phrases 😉)

100% , im taking 1-2 weeks off the grid every year of my adult life That one time when I skipped it, was the least productive year of my life, was feeling stuffed and lacking motivation

at least 2x a year i do an extended (3-4 weeks) digital detox as well. the clarity that returns after is unmatched. 101/10 would also recommend!

A few times a year my wife and I do this for 4 days -- which is hard to accomplish when kids. It's been easier as they get older. It's legitimately my favorite weeks of the year.
