hey i have one more question do i need to build a dapp for this or just a dashboard page, putting some well known smart contract on opitmism to indexer

the indexer needs to be used in a dapp, dashboard page is just needed to track how many events are being indexed by your dapp. pls don’t build a useless dapp like an nft marketplace etc also, it needs to be useful and innovative.

when i am running it says " you can request any block range with a cap of 10K logs in the response." by default it range of indexing is more than 10k how can i put endblock number by myself in example-contract.yml

You should use a new contract, cause the default contract is the Optimism Token itself so Txns keep coming--and the indexing might be restricted due to rate limiting Try using a less "overloaded" contract if you're on the Free plan
