Just got my rabbit r1.
Haven't played much with it but its a cute little device.
First impressions:
- It's toy-like design makes me want to play with it.
- I have no idea how to hold it to get the best UX.
- Scrolling is slow, I wish it were as smooth as a phone swipe or an iPod wheel.
- AI has felt fast enough so far.

supposedly it's perplexity for the LLM then just microsoft playwright to automate a bunch of actions to simulate the supposed "LAM" 

how is your experience in light of that possibility?

Haven't tried it out enough yet but from initial tests it makes sense. Its answers are very Perplexity-like.

I have a Pixel 8 with Gemini so I personally don't have a need for the r1.

If/when Apple integrates Gemini, then iPhone users won't need it either.

Haven't tried the LAM part.
