Supercharger network and car as a computer features are what keep me on Tesla camp.

I'd love to try a German luxury EV but only if I can use a charging network comparable to Supercharger and the car has the app features that Tesla has. I would love to use Google Maps.

Right for kids and long trips then the question is whether to go EV at all.

In my case we choose to get the Model Y for kids and trips but we felt it was good enough for our needs and it actually has more than we expected.

Nevertheless it's a personal choose based on your needs.

I would absolutely choose the Tesla if it was our only car. But we have a gas SUV for kid hauling and long trips. So I can think less about range and network.
