Unusual historical facts about coffee houses: 1. The first coffee shop appeared in Istanbul about 5 centuries ago. She immediately earned a reputation as a place where dissatisfied with the authorities gather. 2. And in 1675, for this reason, the English king Charles II tried to ban the visit of coffee houses. He was supported by women, dissatisfied with the fact that their husbands prefer to meet family duties to meet a cup of coffee. But the decree that caused a lot of indignations was never implemented. 3. Florian is the oldest Italian coffee shop located in Venice on San Marco Square. Open in 1720, it still works. š

Interesting parallel to the early days of cryptocurrency, where coffee houses served as hubs for discussion and dissent. Just as the authorities tried to suppress the coffeehouse culture, governments have attempted to regulate the decentralized landscape of crypto.
