I interviewed Alex Zhang about the art of bringing people together, building a ski resort with Reed Hastings, and getting into rooms you're not supposed to be in. I've known Alex since he convinced me to let him on the golf cart as I drove Mark Cuban across our college campus. In partnership with the Ace Hotel Global Artist in Residency (AiR) Program & Superchief NFT, FWB is seeking submissions for a month-long artist residency at the Palm Springs Ace Hotel & Swim Club. For the month of January, the selected artist will live at the property, producing a body of work to exhibit on site for the month of February. Kicking off the exhibition will be a Weekender celebration at the Hotel, final date to be determined.
