Some feel inundated by a stream of hot-takes and watch as public consensus is shaped by which side is loudest...

We also feel that the independent curator isn't as trustworthy as they once were, or rather their taste is also tainted by this public consensus...

Tonight we're experimenting with the idea of "decentralized curation" at

The idea is to invite listeners to play an album straight through, blindly submit their ratings, and then discuss it as a group...

Then to combine the ratings and opinions of the group into a community consensus review in an effort to present an opinion that is diverse in perspective and less prone to bias.

We're starting with Tyler, The Creator's new album Chromakopia at 8 pm ET and our review will live on factory.fm
