Is there platform risk when developing Frames? E.g. would Warpcast decide "we don't want this frame on the platform" like the App Store?

nothing stopping frames from letting users access them directly or establish other comms channels so there’s some mitigation

but yes warpcast could nerf your distribution in warpcast

API changes are fine and expected. I guess the answer is "build a client" but realistically I don't see this really happening. Maybe I will be proven wrong!

1) yes they could block the domain
2) yes any API /spec change -> you need to adjust your Frame
3) Distribution is casting and adding to the Client so there could be frames blocked by clients from being added or found in search e.g. explore pages
