interested in contracting ai dev work work: - looking for consistent character generation from 1 single image requirements: - input "image_url" and "prompt" and output a new image - cannot be local, must be on a server (api) even if you can point me in the general direction that would be 10/10

Just to give a direction, when I played around with Stable Diffusion, the best and most consistent results were based around LORA fine tunes applied to specific SD models. I am sure the state has moved on from that but it might be what the end result looks like, a set of LORAs targeting a specific model that are referenced by a DB lookup. This would probably require some bespoke architecture to dynamically load the LORAs into the pipeline, but I think it is tractable if a little cumbersome. Cc @gm8xx8 and @july , they might have better info than me but it might also be completely outside of their wheelhouse. Also consider maybe throwing it on bountycaster

i'll hop on a call with you and take a look at what you've got. i might be a little slow at the minute for fully setting up a working pipeline from scratch, but assessing your existing workflow i can be readily helpful with

I had good results with stability, but it required a lot of prompt engineering and augmentation

we achieved similar to this (consistent character generation) for goldmongers.xyz using midjourney style references and imagineapi as an API gateway, modern approaches might have changed in the last year though

Have you tried MidJourney character reference function? Sometimes it works wonders, sometimes it doesn't.
