customers = anyone that will try it. Asking friends or people individually. "could you use this and give me feedback?" "would you use it for X ?" then see if those people came back to use it or not and compare that to the feedback they gave you initially. ask a follow up "why aren't you using it?" "Is there something that would make you want to use it more?" etc. I'm sure you know this but sometimes worth a reminder when it's your own baby. I forgot this for things I worked on.
