there's a guy that copied reelfarm to a T and is being cocky passing it off as his own work, blatantly copied EVERYTHING about reelfarm, and when i say everything, i mean everything the worst part is he's going viral on twitter too what the hell do i even do in this situation

Keep making the better thing that only you can make because you care so much more. Make a better thing. Don’t just go viral on Twitter, go viral everywhere. Leverage your customer network to become a behemoth. Do your shit.

Keep playing your game. Copying product alone isn't enough to make or break a business, still have to continue executing, make customers happy, and work on distribution. Every time I have been on to something, someone came in and copied. It is inevitable. Rarely do these copycats have the drive to go the distance, and never have they understood the market as well as our team. Honestly you should be happy they are validating your market AND if they continue to get better distribution than you, you can actually run ads on their shit (ie pay for your ads on their brand name as a keyword in google ads, etc). Since you care, your product will be better and they will do distribution for you.

No point mentioning competitor by name. At some point (if you want to), you can point to the things that are actually differentiating that you’re doing. Inevitably he’s steps behind you if he’s copying Right now the focus is outrunning him and making sure you’re building the necessary things for your existing customers to keep paying you
