I’m probably going to sell all my DEGEN.

No reason having even 10k of it staked when I can tip ::checks notes:: 8 DEGEN a day.

I loved giving 1,000’s away everyday, but I’m not going to engagement farm with low-level effort posts to crawl back up to where I was. I refuse.

Its a shame seeing some jump down Dylan's throat for his comments rather than acknowledging why hes feeling frustrated. He spoke a little further on the topic in the recent podcast and I completely understand how he feels. I don't like to see systems gamed.

Sometimes you have to look passed what maybe said in frustration /haste. Filter that out & see whats really been said. Dylans obviously frustrated that genuine creators are not able to keep up unless they follow into this "Carrot Dangling" game. Which ultimately promotes low cast efforts. Farming.

It's simple: 

>if the user only holds $DEGEN for a tipping allowance
>and that tipping allowance isn't adequate for whatever reason
>then they can opt out of the tipping game, ezpz

Weird that they would also opt out of the ecosystem, but whatev.

Using the community to distribute the token was ingenious. I never saw a model like it.

I still haven't sold, but that wasn't the warm community engagement I was seeking to keep HODLing

I first fell in love with DEGEN in January b/c I could give it away to people

My team & I actually built a Discord bot to easily gift people tokens, so DEGEN felt like a perfect alignment

But the responses were... yeah

this is really sad( I want to give large sums of money to my friends in the farcaster
