Hi folks, I know I haven’t been around much and that is for several reasons but the main one in the last couple of weeks has been taking care of Sadie, my elderly sick dog that we almost had to send over the rainbow bridge a couple of days ago with bad respiratory issues.  

She has a heart condition so unable to get some meds that would fix the breathing issues easier. We took her to the vet on Wednesday expecting to have to say goodbye but the doctor had a few more things to try and she has finally responded with improvement.

She seems to be recovering from the worst of that after 6 visits to the vet in 2 weeks and that is a relief, but hasn’t not eaten much in that time so she is still weak and not out of the woods. It’s been tough giving her meds when she won’t eat too. 

So we are still in limbo about her. I can’t really focus on much else. It has been tough and an emotional roller coaster. I am hoping she will eat this weekend.
