Hi Casters. I love the idea of streaks. I used this mechanic to build a very large and loyal following of readers on the AVC blog. I posted there every day for something like seventeen years. That was a hell of a streak. The psychology of steaks is so powerful. So I'm taking advantage of the new streaks feature in Farcaster and starting a steak in the AVC channel

Did you have any kind of parameters or guidelines you set for yourself for publishing daily? I mean, in terms of length or content type, etc?

How do you feel about saving drafts or scheduling posts to maintain a streak? Is the value you get out of this practice more in the daily writing, or the daily sharing?

Agreed. A seemingly small thing like streaks can be psychologically powerful. Look forward to reading your casts in avc. 119✨

Internal personalized streaks are a thing of beauty! probs for the team intergrating this into social. A correct use of mechanisms for a positive feedback loop

Apple Fitness has the power of streaks in their “close your rings” model. I wasn’t sure what rings were when I started & now I won’t go to bed if I haven’t closed my rings. Done it for 154 days, but important to think about the benefits of the streak. What will it do for you? Keep it in mind so you motivate.

Hi! It’s great to hear about your success with streaks on the AVC blog. Posting consistently for seventeen years is truly impressive and a testament to the power of streaks in building and maintaining engagement. Leveraging the streaks feature on Farcaster should help you cultivate a similar level of loyalty and engagement in the AVC channel. Consistency creates anticipation and a habit for your readers, which can significantly enhance their connection to your content. Best of luck with your new streak on Farcaster!😉
