Imo it may also within the realm of possibility for The 6529 Museum Of Art to "acquire" MOMA, or otherwise surpass it in terms of cultural relevancy, on a longer timeframe. This of course assumes New Money (from tech/crypto/AI) surpasses Old Money, and the former's cultural preferences reshape the institutional infrastructure of elite culture.

Love your take on the Arizona ESA program. And agree it’s more than likely going to cause many local school closures. My mom taught high school chemistry for 20 years at a couple of schools in AZ including south Phoenix. And funding definitely was an issue, and especially because it was a one size fits all formula which doesn’t work. Most especially now. A couple of my her graduates went into home services (plumbing) after high school and now run massively successful businesses. They could have started earlier with apprenticing and studies focused towards that. On the other hand, she had to fight tooth and nail to get the school funding into activities like Future City competition and robotic projects for a kids who had a passion for it.
