feels: so fking defeated rn my old frames are half-dead on Warpcast with "couldn't be loaded" images, but appear 💯 fine on /recaster . I fight linkrot / decay with every fibre of my hacker soul, going back to my early training in writing code for the International Space Station (it's still up there in space orbit), to making an archival tool my first Farcaster project, to SassyHash which was built difficult-ly in order to be able to survive any attack and live forever

don't feel down, i believe we are still at the alpha phase of farcaster and warpcast, breaking down a lot is part of the process

in general, fine! the whole thing is a science experiment before pmf specifically, warpcast ux decisions choose to silently break old things that aren't broken. ofc they do. it produces more disposable products, which leads to an exciting and energetic feed I see the technical choices made to cache too early and too rigidly, and they produce suboptimal DX. Proof: my old frames are fine in alt clients, unfixably broken on warpcast
