Spent the last week mildly offline, touching grass in Bali for the first time and I totally get the hype! Beautiful nature all around and delicious food - Indonesian cuisine is totally slept on.

Balinese cuisine is nice, wait til you try Sundanese food

Balinese cuisines focuses a lot on blanched veggies, chicken, pork, and sambal matah, but no beef because Hinduism (there's seafood but it's not Balinese specialty)

Sundanese cuisine (halal) focuses on seafood, raw veggies, chicken, tofu, different kind of chilies at varying spiciness, also uses more herbs and spices

I already want to go back and see more!
