Question. What differentiates Base from Zora from Optimism? Everyday artists out there want to know. They’re getting lost in the L2 sauce. The Medici drop was cool didn’t help win favor from many “smaller” artists out there. My DMs are full of frustrated talented people who are afraid to say anything out loud

To me, it's the audience, like how in warpcaster mostly mint on zora, cryptoartists on twitter mint on eth mainnet and tezos. What I'm confused is fragmentation of L2 Optimism, like Zora and Base

I am too. And what happens to my collection if one of them goes down? I hate asking that question 😬 Also currently it’s impossibly expensive to move large collection to another wallet on eth. If we can bridge art back to mainnet, how much is that going to cost?

Two of many reasons L2 exists are because of mainnet scaling issue and adoption friction, if you have the resources, I'd say move it all to mainnet.

This is one reason I say Tezos artists won’t move their incredible art over to eth. Mainnet isn’t reasonable for most artists globally but they’re tech savvy enough to want to keep their art on an L1 with established art collectors I know there are rebuttals but I’m just reporting.

Yes, agreed, right now Tezos is where the creativity is at, artists shouldn't have to worry about gas fees.
