Question for y'all: when did your children start watching full-length movies? 

My soon-to-be 5yo still hasn't watched any. It was a combination of keeping focus for that long but more importantly that she gets anxious when there are "bad guys" and demands we stop.

At 18mths she watched Moana and showed high emotional sensitivity to certain scenes and we would stop as well.

And it's not just bad guys, but general drama, right? Like a character being sad.

I tried playing A Bug's Life 3 months ago, and she lasted all but 5 minutes, when the protagonist's machine misbehaves and is mocked by the rest.

Yup. The scene I’m talking about is when Moana tries to sail off the island and gets washed up but the barrier reef. 

She became super sad when she saw Moana and Pua thrown from the boat and spinning in the water. The music also doesn’t help so we also turned volume off in certain scenes.
