Keep up the fight! 💪 The first 1k+ HP were shredded off the Goblin King To improve reliability we now added a Fallback to our self hosted Hub which has been down the last couple hours.

Does anybody else render frames with just a simple "server" (e.g. with express), without any nextjs/react shenanigans? I feel like most frames examples I have seen so far are overly complex due to being tightly coupled to random framework stuff that is just bloat in the context of rendering simple frames.

- always post to the same endpoint, e.g. render.my.frame.***.xyz/api/action - always add the origin_frame_id to the post_url of all frames - have a map that gives you the next frame based on the origin_frame_id - the action endpoint has the job of returning the next frame. You can hide all further logic behind that

A reference frames architecture: - Serve your initial frame from a CDN on the domain you want to use for initialization, e.g. render.my.frame.***.xyz - have post_url set to an endpoint that knows the context of the next frame - have an image endpoint that renders dynamic images for your frames based on query data

Nice 🚀 I guess this is made by pulling frame interactions (button clicks) from a FC HUB? - Any plans to extend this to include button ids + image url - would be nice to have a frame identifier added to the spec I guess, so interactions with the different frames can be tracked more easily

It may be possible to enable websocket connections or polling after an initial interaction with a frame. Adding an "active" state to a frame could enable all kinds of new features

Support for multiple frame image sizes would be nice. The initial load times for many frames are extremely slow as they can‘t be optimized for both desktop and mobile.

Frames are at the edge of user attention and so far storytelling as well as collaborative multiplayer interactions are still underutilized. I plan to change that and build mostly in public. Only in humble beginnings though… https://framecity.xyz/join
