I had a very insightful discussions with 2 of the top Bitcoin L2 Builders (founder of Citrea and BOB) Some key insights 1. BTC bridging between L2s & L1 is the largest challenge that sets L2s apart form sidechains 2. BitVM is positioned to become the defacto way to implement trust-minimized bridging between L2s & L1

Great thread @fouda been researching l2 , in attempt to develop an app with one most likely to succeed but not easy to figure out. But am hesitant until real trust baked in , Does BitVM allow you to exit on Layer 1 without needing to trust anyone ?

BitVM has little to do with that. The L2 architecture can allow that by forcing transaction inclusion on the L1. Stacks for example force the first execution of any relevant L1 transactions but the enforcing happens on the L2 stack
