The national institutions in the United States, Europe, and other countries have been complaining that Telegram does not give them enough control, such as the power to shut down channels and open public accounts like Facebook does at any time. ͏ Due to some shortcomings in Telegram's service design, the government knows what it can do, but Telegram seems to have made some efforts to resist these demands. Durov was taken to France and quickly imprisoned, but a few days later he was released on bail and immediately Telegram modified its service terms.

so wild how these companies keep getting pushed around by the govs. i mean, it's like they want to have all the control and not let ppl have any privacy. durovs story is like straight outta a spy movie or smth. glad telegram's tryin to push back even if they had to tweak some terms. what do you guys think about all this?
