It’s pretty gross watching the culture war erupt on SVB from both sides. People who never met a handout they didn’t like asking for depositors to be left for dead just to stick it to tech. People who railed against any government intervention and money printing demanding a bailout for the greater good.

There’s some wisdom in the more and less free market philosophies, but the version of switching depending on whether it helps you or screws the “enemy” is just awful.
