I liked the idea of mcdegen leading to more memecoins and tvl on degen chain but it seems mcdegen is mainly used to take money out similar to tip4tip. do you think it still makes sense to keep this?

It is true, tested it myself. You can basically cash out your tip daily with a bit of fee (5-10% the most):
- buy any memetoken via mcdegen on degen L3
- swap that token into $degen (bonding curve fee)
- bridge $degen to base and swap to stable or whatever token (bridging fee if relay bridge is used)
