Apple removed the Stoke Fire app from the app store. 😑 I don't think they completely knew or understood what crypto was going on behind the scenes and once they did, decided to take the app down. Game is still functional if you have the iOS app but don't uninstall it cause then you won't be able to redownload. I'm working hard to recreate the app as a web app/PWA and then V2 Frame! Hoping to have something out later today. If you have the android version there is no issue. If you have an issue with your village due to the iOS app being down I can help you in TG support. Maybe some day in the future we can get the app back up again. Keep stoking. 🔥

Overall, I don’t think so. App is better. But I love v2 frame in app notifications and ease of use. While distribution and ease of use for farcasters will improve, it will restrict others outside to participate. Also think native build quality always trumps anything that could be done on web. So pros and cons.

It’s funny you say that. I always feel that a well built, mobile first web app is much nicer than apps these days. So much so that many things that require an app, I won’t even bother trying. I know this isn’t a unique perspective either. Too many things have apps now. I also may be in the minority of preferring v1 frames to v2. v2 often feel clunky and I don’t like the wasted screen space

v2 is almost like a full scale web app right? should be able to do lot more than v1. but perhaps v1 is better for simpler things that do not need a full scale web model like farville or farcade does
