why the hell does chatgpt send images as webp files now

i assume it's because its compression is better than jpeg or png. same reason google uses it basically

yeah what i've been doing is just asking it to flip it to a jpeg for me which works which is kind of also crazy

wtffffffff that's wild! i can see how that would have made sense earlier since the audience was geared towards artists. it would be awesome if you could choose your export format. I imagine that's coming
