constantly feels like it's the same 100 people using Farcaster, but yet, I find myself coming back expecting something different every day

You follow 190 people? We mostly show you content from people you follow. So that makes sense? :)

I'm somewhat in the same boat but think it's due to my own DEFIcencies. I posted & followed so much in the Degen bubble that I didn't see the real Ethereum talk in other channels & was a bit frustrated with many farmers. Hence, helps to proactively follow more people from other interesting channels :)

TOC.fun and /launchcaster I think would help to discover. But I feel this same thing from the opposite side – attention-wise. I am not sure it is better on X tbh, never used it actively.

It's true that if it seems that the rest of the community does not exist, we don't know how the farcaster algorithm works. It would be excellent if it were like Twitter that shows you according to preferences.

That’s because the feed only shows you a fraction of who you follow, I think mostly based on your likes. So once you start liking something, you’ll see more of it. But then you don’t even have the chance to like everything else. It’s a loop. @woj.eth’s @supercast let’s you see your feed chronologically, and it’s much more varied.
