common concern/problems people seem to be having is board resetting midgame—i think in most cases this means somebody won, and game has proceeded to next random starting position

I won! At that point it was a battle of attrition. Fun thing I learned: The engine handles en passant without any issues.

this is awesome. One suggestion (super small)- for notation for pawn moves can we enable "b3" instead of "b2 to b3" its more natural for players who are used to regular notation
