Focus on verbs, not nouns

I am having much more success writing now that I _write every week_ instead of trying to have _a newsletter_

This is part of the reason why I am reluctant to have _a podcast_, even though I am excited by _talking to new people_

Figure out what gives you energy and purpose, then focus on doing it for its own sake. Don't let the work evolve into a noun that distracts you from the verb.

As @pmillerd puts it in his new book, you have to protect your Good Work.
