To reduce fees and scale, we’re increasing the gas target 50% (to 3.75 mgas/s) tomorrow and then to 5 mgas/s following an observation period, targeting early next week

EIP-4844 is an upgrade to the Ethereum protocol aimed at reducing Ethereum's gas fees and increasing transaction throughput, paving the way for the future implementation of Danksharding.
