From December to April they come to us from the islands of Novaya Zemlya in search of food. Yes, it's true that these are Nenets. And they have huge herds of deer, so the bears follow them.

Wow, didn’t realize they roam the mainland too! Is this nenets area? I’m originally from northern Finland, near Lapland and cloudberries are my fave treat. Svalbard is on my wish list too.
