Over this year I've had the privilege of co-creating with the Huottoja native community in the Venezuelan Amazon. As a student of their vast culture, practices, and ancestral medicines, I've been inspired by their profound wisdom and resilience, their Kuami Kiachi (strength in the heart)- while also recognizing the critical threats they face, from illegal mining and forced displacements to the cultural erosion imposed by evangelical missionaries. We've been assisting the Huottoja in embracing Web3 technology, enabling them to bring their vision of a University of Ancestral Knowledge to life. This initiative is not just about preserving their invaluable heritage but about empowering them to share their knowledge with the world, at a time when listening to ancestral wisdom is more crucial than ever for our collective future. https://giveth.io/project/huottoja-university-of-ancestral-knowledge #retropgf
