Got a response from prom 97 MOOØNBEANS by Sublime company, what questions should i answer to mail? was thinking of asking more about police case file given i could not find anything online. This means @oni should give back 0.69 Eth (for coordination and prop building)

wow. i spoke to this guy via voice on a couple of occasions. iirc his story was that it was *his* company. it all seemed so specific and quirky that i never considered that it might be fraudulent. ‘21 things i guess. talking to the police seems reasonable though highly doubt we’re going to recover any $. maybe better to lean into the meme? the (real) butter folks seem friendly. could show them the nouns school (& other legitimizing projects) and ask them for a collab? 😅

What was @oni relationship to this prop? Obviously it was enough that he was included in the payout…. Agree it would probably be best that he returns the funds given this prop is a rug / fraud. I think this shows we need to increase the proposal timelines and way more due diligence should be done on all proposals

At minimum, I think you need to ask for the date of the complaint and the address of the police station that took it. If they have a link to it, that would be awesome, but you need to have possession of the key documents. Seems like there are some really savvy people on this thread who will be chiming in later.
