One important thing to note about tipper scores: They currently include tips to users with less than 100 followers, which can significantly skew the the score. Tip recipients must have 100 followers starting Aug 1 for that reason (and to make it harder to tip bot accounts).

Thanks for the update! I’ve gone through your doc and I would have loved to see the tip minimum stayed. Because I’ve seen many tippers tip in very small amounts to many users and big amounts to only a few. This caused many imbalances and unfair distribution which other tokentipping mechanisms are trying to correct rn.

Hi friend, is it correct if I summarize how Farther V2 works like this (so I can explain it to people who ask): The idea is that we tip people who we bet will grow in Openrank throughout the month. The more the person who receives the tip grows, the more points we earn. And at the end of the month, these points are converted into Farther.

I'm really curious to see this new system working in practice. And I was really happy to see that Farther is thinking about encouraging people to stay on Warpcast, because I totally agree that the amount of people who start using the app and give up due to lack of engagement is a big problem.

Basically, tipping someone who's already grown a lot (someone with a top-level score) isn't the most optimal move, huh? For example, when someone like me (RANK:3748) becomes a top caster, the people who tipped me would get the biggest benefit, right?🤣
