Today our country is celebrating the Day of The Ukrainian Сoat of Arms, The TRIDENT, also known as the Tryzub (Тризуб).

 The Trident has an ancient origin, dating back to the Kyivan Rus’ period (9th–13th centuries). It was used as a symbol by Prince Volodymyr the Great (r. 980–1015).

The interesting fact that Tryzub's shape can be read as the word "ВОЛЯ" (VOLYA) in Ukrainian, meaning "freedom" or "will".

It's not just a symbol of the state, it represents the unbreakable spirit of Ukraine and its people.
