People don’t read book now. Learning definitions has changed . Digital book with AI , audio version has changed too. No doubt I see lots of people with high intellectual capacity. Paper book reading for three hours what one learn or grasp vs same time 3 hrs learning from digital books, AI support , audio one can learn more content . New learning model no doubt gives higher efficiency than past . Fast learning now is the keys . I do buy book still but use more Audiobooks during travel to walking and can use time more efficiently. I learn more during walking running traveling, driving. Digital library gives us more access to more content. I guess time travel faster than we can imagine 🙏🙏🙏

I doubt more test will increase life expectancy by numbers. Real life experience - I have over hundred patients aged over 89-90 . All have bunch of common ground- They don’t have anxiety. All told me they bath daily . All says never use bad word it ruins heart and health and age goes down. All pray daily All wakes up daily All of them always smiles . All of them pray for me 😂 so that they don’t have to look for doctors. Not sure if prayers increase life expectancy 🙏. 100% of my patients diagnosed with cancer or other serious illnesses had anxiety before and continue on with more CT MRI monthly blood test , though their chronological age of 50a but biological age of 80 now . No doubt anxiety is foundation of something’s. Thanks 🙏

Just jumping in from no where as response. Health care system is rigged by businesses man here . Still from my 90-100 years old patient I learn one thing stay motivated. Staying motivated and having a sense of purpose can significantly impact life expectancy. Research indicates that individuals with a strong sense of purpose are less likely to die from heart, circulatory, or blood conditions, potentially adding several years to their lifespan. Additionally, optimism and motivation are associated with “exceptional longevity,” increasing the likelihood of living past age 85. While specific numbers vary, studies suggest that adopting habits tied to motivation, such as regular physical activity or maintaining a positive outlook, can extend life expectancy by 5 to 10 years or more. We can’t give up then we loose to all those businesses man.

What we know of brain and health . The gut nervous system, also known as the enteric nervous system (ENS), is a complex network of neurons embedded in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. It is often referred to as the “second brain” because of its ability to function independently of the central nervous system (CNS) while maintaining communication with it. The ENS can process information and coordinate responses without CNS input but communicates with the brain via the vagus nerve and neurotransmitters like serotonin and GABA. The ENS interacts with the CNS through the gut-brain axis, involving neural, hormonal, and immune pathways. This connection influences digestion, mood, and even neurological health.

https://www.doximity.com/newsfeed/0ff35b25-d4d6-4ef7-b041-e6b15d796d4a/public Most people stop ozempic after two years ??? such stops in treatment often reverses weight loss and health gains. Many people who use these drugs, and clinicians who prescribe them, are questioning how sustainable they are—and what quitting them might do to long-term health.

Agree. Work rewards created such big differences. And lack of pcp in community created such big chaos . My experience is opposite. Worked as hospitalist decades then realized I can help people more in outside and prevent tertiary level sickness. Health care is so diverse and complex hard to figure out. I find challenging and enjoy doing what I do . We all will contribute at each level and do best to help all our patients always .

Financial engineers industrialized health care like ford did through car industry. It’s sad we created technicians with short training who can’t tell 5-10 differentials of most common disease . It’s very sensitive zone to talk about even . We can’t criticize one individual knowledge, that’s not proper . But we can criticize looking how system is developed to produce so called skilled worker . When we don’t think we do test and ref every places . More radiation exposure every where through more test . Working in primary care setting I can see everyday billions dollars waste by doing test . We are in tough time . Training being distorted and financial business person don’t understand depth how physician works . Fundamentals training system need revolution. We have reached to the point where we are about to CT scan of hair and don’t know what we are looking even .

Totally agree. The word “” feel entitled “ is society empowered on them . In USA every 30 min there is one add from attorney on Tv , “ call me and sue physician, I will get you money “ not sure how many country in the world has such sick advertising to attack professional doctors . No doubt we do defensive medicine practice. Medicaid - 21% USA population Medicare 18.7% Private insurance: 54.5% Probably you see more third category insurance coverage patients 😂. I see more first two category. I think always if I can save government money though government don’t care for us .

True . Research indicates a strong association between sunlight exposure and increased life expectancy. Key findings include: • Lower Mortality Rates: Studies show that individuals with high sun exposure have reduced all-cause mortality, particularly from cardiovascular disease (CVD) and non-cancer/non-CVD causes, compared to those avoiding sun exposure Life Expectancy Gains: Women with active sun exposure habits were found to live 0.6 to 2.1 years longer than those who avoided sunlight. Avoiding sun exposure was deemed a risk factor for death comparable to smoking. Problem is: modern day financial CEO made human into factory workers in every level with metrics of revenue,EPS 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
