would anyone be interested in a chess-flavored farcaster client that allowed you to link your chesscom or lichess profile? (so that you could challenge users, see ratings on posts, share progression / brilliant moves, etc)

I explored this @vmedium last year pre-permissionless signups

@0xasdf is building something interesting up this alley as well. I do think having some form of rating next to posts for context and ability to play games with people here would go along way, but there's so much opportunity for crypto x chess beyond that like you are saying.

definitely altho i don't think you have to fully replicate WC—like it could just be a simple chess game that has a FC leaderboard, betting, games happening live, and farcaster sign in

the whole thing with what i'm doing w dchess (that's what i'm calling it now haha) is to give someone as accurate of a rating as possible. and it put it onchain. it's serves as a leaderboard. puzzles also help one get better. [1/2]
