When we were starting Kiwi, we had to run it from our savings. I had little money back then, and was both excited about the new project and stressed af about my lack of liquidity.

One day got a call from a friend I used to work with, and he said: "Listen, I want you to work with me on growing one of my companies. You can do part-time, whatever. You can start invoicing me now, and we will figure out next month what exactly should you do."

It was so hard to say NO... But it was one of the best NOs I ever said.

thanks for sharing! I've been through the same thing, learning year after year haha I feel much more prepared now to say NO (although it's not easy) than ever before
