Reposting from Elon-land: I have loved twttr since 2008 and love my community there. Sadly, it has devolved into a propaganda tool for far right extremism masquerading as a haven for free speech. (while shadow banning or outright banning opinions and people that he doesn't agree with)

I don't know what happened to our real-life Tony Stark, or how he transformed into Thanos, but actively amplifying such hate and misinformation must be Resisted. I wish him well..I wish better for him.

I won't leave (although you can also find me on Threads, LinkedIn, and here) because you must always be present and stand up to bullies and demagogues. I have, however, canceled four Premium+ subscriptions...I like having unsend, editing, longer text, longer video...but cannot justify putting any more money directly into the efforts to undermine democracy and spread hate. 

The platform can be so much more but only if the Resistance pushes back against evil.
