growing up with a mom who struggled with depression was tough it made our family pretty isolated and i never really learned how to be good at making friends or opening up to people even now that im an adult i wish i could be more welcoming and have people over like my friends do but its hard for me to shake the feeling that i should just keep to myself i really believe in the importance of community but its hard for me to fit in because of how i was raised
