1. Rune the new ERC 20 over BTC. My debate is why Bitcoin transaction fees have significantly come down post-halving?

If you could provide specific data regarding transaction fees, that would be helpful. From what I have observed, the fees in dollars have actually been extremely high in the first few days following the halving event.

More than 2.38 million Runes transactions have been processed, accounting for 68% of all BTC transactions made since it launched on April 20, according to a Dune Analytics dashboard shared by blockchain research firm Crypto Koryo.

BTC miners had been earning $65M in daily subsidy and transaction fee rewards leading up to the halving. However, this spiked to $108M on April 20, despite miners earning half the subsidy reward/block, according to Blockchaincom. Around 75% of it ($80M) came from transac. fees alone, per Glassnode — both record highs
