my follow/unfollow algo:

if profile has ⬇️ following and ⬆️ follower counts then unfollow, else follow

my theory is that people who don’t follow very many but themselves have a lot of followers are probably popular on the bird app and used to the culture there and so less likely to engage here. diva energy 

I've never thought about it this way before. So do you then tend to follow "indie" centric social media users. Like more tweeting to archive as opposed to like for attention, zineish follow ratios?

most of the interesting interactions i’ve had and relationships i’ve formed on farcaster have come from people who engage in good faith, with everyone. thankfully that’s most people here rn. in almost all cases they tend to have a high following count so i’ve begun using that as a signal
