okay let’s say you’re hosting a meetup in LA. the venue tells you that there’s room for 50 - 60 people to comfortably stand and chat. how many people would you let RSVP yes before turning on the wait list?

I’d do 200 for a web3/LA combo with open invites (ie not 1:1 DMs). A 25% show rate is decent for this combo 150 to play it safe or if you think people will want to bring friends If it’s not web3, in LA, or if it was a tight knit/personal invite these numbers change. Also if it’s the 1st of an ongoing meetup.
