“most ppl don’t care about decentralization” true, but some forms of “decentralization” can lead to better incentives for the ppl creating the things ppl building mini apps on fc is a prime example: build mini app, test demand, option to transition to full client in future upfront incentive for immediate distribution, backend incentive to not be rugged - both possible bc of just enough decentralization

i don’t think everyone needs to care about decentralization, if the ppl creating the things are incentivized by it tho, that is enough the days of bootstrapping users from zero will soon be over

i strongly believe that most people dont even know what decentralization means tbh. same applies to other things like protocols, layers and a ton of other things in our space.

Decentralization is akin to breaking free from oligarchy for me - ultimate win is achieving this.

decentralisation here basically means lack of censorship right? or are there other aspects of it that help with this mini app test & graduate phenomena?

That’s a very good summation of the tablestakes. I am deeply supportive of decentralization and I hope we make it.

You're right, most don't care about "decentralization" itself.
