looking back i find that flattening out period interesting in 2023, the app layer on l2s made a ton of progress over that time, then when ready.... boom 🏒

reality is we know it's one of the most familiar concepts to ppl, and it brings benefit to both consumer and vendor if used for payments

i'd say the next most familiar concept to onboard ppl onchain is farcaster, where they don't know they're even "going onchain" at the start, but see for the firm time what is possible and start to ask questions, although this process takes a bit more time
