the second picture has a crab or shellfish feel with those headlights thanks for sharing, I have never seen this before. I would assume putting something larger, like big flat rocks, under the drop off to stack the sand onto of would make this job less cyclical — but I imagine either way it will be a recurring job

It’s insane how much money some of these beaches cost per year, millions and millions. Many factors involved (harbors changing shore currents, lack of sediments bcs dams, storms,…) but mainly it’s due to poor planning on where to build them 🥲
