do $degen tips have the same value as sending $degen?

I feel like they aren't, but wondering if it's explained anywhere

This is the proper response.  The only other issue is the time value of $Degen.  

The tips everyone gives here like this:
2000 $Degen

Will be allocated from airdrop 2 (20% of supply) which will start distribution beginning by claim at Degen.tips on February 29.

The amount of Degen you can claim is precisely equal to whatever you receive in tips.

Idea, maybe we could also receive the amount we give in tips? Like, some users enjoy tipping, but aren't programmers creating frames, art, or projects like Perl, so chances are slim to obtain a lot of tips. So maybe altruists like this could "earn" Degen by receiving the amount tipped, or a % of this? Just an idea 😀
