The classic rule of poker tells is that strong means weak and weak means strong. Meaning, if a player is acting like he has a poor hand, it’s probably a good one. I think about this often with regard to startup marketing: most companies with real PMF aren't out there boasting about it.

i love this, thanks for sharing. i’ve noticed this too, especially in a space like crypto where sometimes we use metrics that aren’t the most accurate indicators of success (eg TVL, # of mints)

Half way through the book. I find it super interesting the way he describes exact players and their strategies, can’t help myself but drawing parallels with crypto
